Christmas Eve & Morning with the Adams Family

We went on Google+ on Christmas Eve with my parents and sister who are far away and opened some presents from each other.  Daxen got quite a surprise when he pulled a blanket off of the top of the fire house.  He was so excited that he got the Fire House that looked like the one from Transformers Rescue Bots he didn’t want to open any more presents for a while.  It was really nice that we had time to let him play with each toy as he opened them.

When he opened the car mat he was excited about it and pointed out Doc Green’s lab and a few other places in the show.

Opening Optimus Prime was another surprise and he made comments about his presents being exactly what he wanted.  He was very happy and overwhelmed.

On Christmas morning he didn’t really want to open anything else, but play with everything he opened the  night before.  I took some convincing to get him to open the present that Santa left and the stockings that had gotten filled over night.  He did however check the plate he left for Santa and was a little confused by the half eaten carrot.

The cats weren’t quite sure what was going on and it was funny to watch them sniff around all the new toys.

Dave and I both got a little more spoiled too with a few surprise items we weren’t expecting.

I have many different hats that I wear. Throughout my life I have been many different things: a small business owner, problem solver, mother, friend, sister, writer, designer, employee, manager, consultant, gamer, leader and many more buzz words that I can't think of. Many of these I still do, but some I have let go to focus more on the here and now. I like to share my experiences, ideas and funny things I run across. Ask me something and I will provide an honest and likely unfiltered opinion. I am still learning about life, myself, relationships, parenting and well everything else. I am not superwoman and don't really have my life together, but I manage and am willing to share my tips and learnings. Writing for me can be cathartic and sharing makes us not feel so alone in this crazy, mess of a world we currently inhabit.
