Christmas 2015 was spent in the Great White North (well not that far north) – High Level, AB with my side of the family. It was about -17C for most of the time we were there or colder so we didn’t get outside much. It was nice to spend a few days with Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Amanda. The kids were spoiled with all of the presents and everything managed to make it back into the car, except the drum kit they received.
Then it was to Beaverlodge, AB to spend some time with Great Grandma & Grandpa Stotz and some of Dave’s side of the family. It was a fair bit warmer there and we were able to get outside a lot for sledding, which the kids loved.
Dave even got the opportunity to play with some Tannerite (explosives).

We took some time to visit the new Dinosaur museum in Wembley, AB. It was one of the coolest ones I have been in with little children.
It was a great holiday for us! Next year will likely be a little more low key, but then again who knows…
