I have had a love hate relationship with these suckers for a while now. I love them, but hate how sweet they always are. This past New Years I was charged with bringing the dessert for our neighbourhood get together and thought I would make these. While doing so I started to experiment. The result was amazing.
Recipe
1 Bag Butterscotch Chips (about 325g)
1.25 Cups Natural Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup Grass Fed Butter
1 Bag mini marshmallows
1/2 Tbs Cinnamon (or to taste)
2-4 Squares Dark Bakers Chocolate (this is what made the change)
Instructions
Melt together butter, peanut butter, and butterscotch chips on very low heat until mixed, stirring constantly. Cool for a bit (so as not to melt the marshmallows).
Stir in mini marshmallows.
Pour in a greased 11″ x 13″ pan.

- Refrigerate and cut into small (1-1/2″ or whatever size you want) squares.
I also lined the pan with parchment paper which made getting everything out so much easier.
The result was more like Reese’s Squares. So yummy.
