We love our dojo, Arashido. We have been doing online classes for almost a year and have just been able to schedule private lessons with our Monitor (instructor) this month, February. The kids have really missed going to the dojo, but have still been able to learn things when they were at home.
Dax recently received his yellow belt with white stripe. Seth is still considered a beginner and has a white belt with a blue bar, equivalent to a grey belt with white stripe that the youth receive (over age 8).
Dax has been doing BJJ for almost 6 years, since just before he turned 4. Seth was 6 weeks old when Dax started BJJ and has practically grown up in the dojo. He hasn’t taken to the sport in the same way Dax did, but still likes to wrestle and learn new things.
We shall see what happens in the next couple of weeks, might be returning them to full classes.
Video of Dax getting his new belt. We had to wait until we could come in person for this. It was two testing periods after he had actually received it.
