Dave returned home from the hospital in a “medically stable” state on December 12 in the afternoon. “Medically stable” meant that there had the seizures were generally under control and there was no good medical reason for him to remain in hospital. We were a bit skeptical as there were still focal seizures happening throughoutContinue reading “Holiday Season | Progress”

Set backs
Sicknesses continued to plague our immediate and extended family through the rest of Dave’s treatment. Seth got over whatever asthma thing he had only to get pink eye twice, and Dax ended up with some slight flu and pink eye as well. We were surprisingly calm and unworried when we arrived at the hospital to check in. We both likely anxious, butContinue reading “Challenges and Changes Pt2”
Challenges and Changes Pt 1
Big changes happening very fast. I thought that I was adaptable, that change didn’t scare me so very much, but apparently I wasn’t being honest with myself. The last two months have been the most challenging months that I have ever had to face and the journey isn’t over. It might never be fully over. Continue reading “Challenges and Changes Pt 1”
