For Daxen’s fourth birthday we went to the Lake. There was a treasure hunt and then cake and presents. The weather cooperated somewhat as the morning was nice and the afternoon had some periods of sunshine. Dax loved the entire thing. He was amazed by the cake which was made by his Uncle Mark andContinue reading “Daxen’s Fourth Birthday”

The Arrival of the Nine Month Package
Our second son arrived on March 22, 2014 with about as much drama as he could muster. My labour started in earnest at 6:30am on Saturday. Dave was going to go to work that day to finish up a few more things on the job he had been working on. He left at about 7am.Continue reading “The Arrival of the Nine Month Package”
Dax’s First time Skiing
We took Dax skiing for the first time over the weekend. We put him in a lesson, which he didn’t really take to, but at least it got him started. It was pretty windy and blowing snow so wasn’t really nice to be out in the morning. The afternoon was better. Stopping was a challenge,Continue reading “Dax’s First time Skiing”
Christmas Day 2013

He was so excited that he got the Fire House that looked like theContinue reading “Christmas Eve & Morning with the Adams Family”
Changes incoming

Halloween 2013
For the first time we left our gate open for Halloween. The largest deterrent to us getting trick or treaters is the gate which you need to come through to get to our front door, but this year we propped it open. They started coming at around 6pm and continued until about 7:45pm. Most wereContinue reading “Halloween 2013”
Thanksgiving Fun
We spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Edmonton with my mom & dad at the Hampton Inn & Suites. They have a wonderful pool for kids and adults. Daxen had a blast!
August Long Weekend Fun
Beautiful weekend. Not too hot and little to now rain. Lots of fun with family and seeing the little ones again.
